6:45 am - Season 3 Preview of BSG
God bless all you loves who screen cap. Despite being three inches from the tv screen and having spent weeks training my eyes to disseminate the information in trailers frame by frame.....

All I can say is that October has taken on new meaning. It used to mean pumpkins, antique shopping, changing leaves and cool weather.

6:43 pm - BSG The Mini Series on DVD
My husband picked up a copy yesterday at Borders and we spent this afternoon rewatching the mini. There are some great extras, including deleted scenes and interviews of the actors. I had no idea that the writers created Laura Roslin with Mary McDonnell in mind - because they thought they'd never get her ;)

Katie Sackoff is adorable, her interview begins with "Yeah, Starbuck's a female, deal with it."

Actor's bootcamp! What fun!

I highly recommend for those who haven't purchased it yet.

7:49 pm - Long time, no see...
I didn't realize how long I was away from my journal until I went through my flist to see how excited everyone is for the BSG Season 2 premiere this Friday. I certainly am, between commercials on Sci Fi and this week's TV Guide. Despite being aware of some general spoilers, the anticipation is truly enjoyable. I can't wait to see where the writers take this show now that it's more established. I hope they continue to take risks, push the envelope and explore the fabulous characterizations they introduced us to in Season One.

11:33 pm - Summer will be here before you know it....
I tell my kids this catch-phrase all the time. Now, I'm trying to convince myself that I can patiently wait until Season Two of BSG after watching the most tense and exciting episode to date. Kobol's Last Gleaming, Part Deux was startling despite being spoiled and my initial thoughts are safetly tucked behind a lj cut....

2:20 pm - Happy Easter
For all those who celebrate, a very happy and blessed Easter.

My little family woke to Easter baskets and pastries (coffee for the parents), church and lunch out, a Easter egg hunt later this afternoon (teenagers still love finding money in Easter Eggs) and dinner tonight with my parents.

A lovely day...

What a shame the deleted scenes from KLG Part 1 regarding Kara were not included. Does anyone out there besides me believe that Kara's self-loathing isn't limited to Baltar? It seems that she's a wee bit ashamed to have fallen in love with Lee - or is it confusion? I can understand being uncomfortable with falling in love with your lover's brother or your best friend. Under ordinary circumstances. But, the circumstances can hardly be considered normal and the chemistry between them is so deliciously rich that giving in to temptation is one sin worth not repenting.

11:07 pm - The Infamous Dress: Spoilers for "Colonial Day"
Kara does clean up good and even though money has no value in the BSG universe, I'd pay lots of it to know what was going on in Apollo's mind as he GAPED at his buddy-n-pal, Starbuck. Now, I've seen plenty of comments about this dress and how Starbuck manages to pull it out of her locker wardrobe. But, who cares? Lee finally realizes Kara's a girl, an attractive one at that, and things will never be the same between them.

Thank the Gods!

I'm spoiled through the rest of the season, but I can honestly tell you that reading spoilers vs. watching them play out is quite different. I think the reason has to do with chemistry - both actors are wonderful at conveying emotion with a glance, a smile, a gape..

6:35 am - Cable and computer woes
My teenager called me at work yesterday to tell me that our cable was out. This, of course, includes our cable modem. I called and by the time I got home, the cable was working but my son's computer (which is the host to the modem and router for our home network) was still down.

My husband ended up spending 3 hours trying to fix it, 1 hour with the cable's company's assistance (they finally gave up and offered to send a tech out next Tuesday...TUESDAY!!!!) and 2 hours downloading internet drivers (which is hard when you can't get on the internet) and reboot the router. He says the major problem was getting answers to a situation that really should not have happened in the first place.

Meanwhile, I consoled myself with Survivor (Lost was a rerun) West Wing and jellybeans.

This morning, I don't have time to catch up with my flist - so I need some kind soul to give me a summary of yesterday's events.

Happy St. Paddy's Day everyone. Wear the green and chug the beer!
